Final 16  529 (H7 - 1294, L19 - 472)   What can you do?  Eric Staal chokes out on the final game of the season, which just may have been the scoring needed to win in round one against New Orleans (Shawn).  Kopitar's injury was a killer and will be the deciding factor for this teams playoff chances.  It wasn't GM Marcel's year.
75 19  769 (H7 - 1294, L19 - 472)   CRUSHING!  What other word can describe what happened to Kopitar?  GM Marcel had hopes all season the Kings could make a run and now is left devastated.  Likely still up enough on 5th that Marcel will make it, especially with Indianapolis (Matt) out if Dallas doesn't make it in.  This will be a dream matchup in the first round with Kopitar and Eric Staal out or maybe even Weber or Frolik still.  Just a shitty break for the one-time Cup Champions in Florida and overall a season GM Marcel will likely like to forget.
70 16  1005 (H7 - 1294, L19 - 472)   A Kings Cup run is likely the only true shot here for GM Marcel.  Not a real exciting team, as there are just too many big questions.  Staal is a BIG question mark.  Great potential for first round scoring, either in the NHL playoffs or on the links.
65 16  924 (H7 - 1294, L19 - 472)   Five of the 7 players are fringe and LA, Carolina, Nashville and Minny could all still be out.  GM Marcel may be facing penalties or big changes and although he has 11 points to work with, teams behind should be making playoff teams, for something has to occur here, or this team may be in big trouble.
60 17  871 (H7 - 1294, L19 - 472)   Still has 7 playoff players and is only 5 points out of 4th.  The same question marks still remain.  If the Kings remain strong, this is likely the best Kings team (Boston, Ryan the other).  Imagine, if the Kings get Richards to play with Kopitar?  Wow.  We think it will happen, does anyone else?
55 17  740 (H7 - 1294, L19 - 472)   GM Marcel has 7 rated players.  Can the Kings hold on?  Will the Canes stay in?  Can the Wild finish wild?  Those answers are going to have to be answered for Kopitar, Smyth, Eric Staal and Bouchard.  We've seen much worse teams but that doesn't mean we like this one any better!
50 18  639 (H7 - 1294, L19 - 472)   Eric Staal is hot, as is this entire team in the scoring department.  As far as in high demand, GM Marcel's Panthers likely are not.  A team built on the edge of 8 mile, with 5 players not quite gangsters or exactly sure what turf to call home.  This teams true colors, could be a lot brighter, for they can't get too much worse.
45 19  472 (H7 - 1294)   A season low mark.  Tied for 4th means tied for 5th.  That is OK when you are loaded with assets, but who is demanding LA, Carolina, Minny or Montreal players, who are truly fringe at best.
40 18  869 (H7 - 1294, L20 - 771)   GM Marcel finally heard that there was a chance Perron might not come back this season.  "We only told him that about 10 times" stated Muddy Capone.  Adding Pacioretty will be a very important move now for Marcel as he gets some much needed scoring, as Perron's point total hadn't moved in almost 30 games for Marcel.  Still lead by the King dual of Kopitar and Smyth, this team could have some potential if they can continue to stay close enough to 4th down the stretch.  With two low numbers, Erik Staal's 38 can be moved later if needed, but with Carolina's hot play, maybe, just maybe, he himself is the playoff player Marcel has hoped he'd be.
35 16  863 (H7 - 1294, L20 - 771)   GM Marcel just will not give up on Perron.  Holding him now for 25 games.  "GM Marcel is very loyal to his players" stated Muddy Capone.  "I'd think that was a very admirable thing if Perron and his family actually knew who the fuck Marcel was!"  NEW YEAR'S WISH:  Kopitar and Smyth making the Cup finals.  Perron to get healthy or leave on the Erik Staal - Bouchard train out of town.  To make the NHLP playoffs.  To stop being referred to as Marcehole.
30 20  771 (H7 - 1294)   More lows for just an all around low season for GM Marcel.  He has Kopitar and Smyth hear to build around by keeping or trading and several low numbers.  He has hung onto Perron even though Perron's recovery might be best described as "not occurring".  This team can make a big splash with a Waiver at any time, so pay attention here.  (“What we have here is a failure to communicate” - Cool Hand Luke)
25 14  858 (H7 - 1294)   Staal has fallen out of the playoffs as GM Marcel has fallen to a season low CTR.  Kopitar and Smyth clearly have value, but the team continues to struggle scoring, and Perron is clearly missed.  Hudler may be on the first place Red Wings, but with 6 points in 21 games, Marcel could score better at a local strip joint.
20 7   1294 (L11 - 980)   There is no hotter player in the NHL than Staal with 16 points the first 22 days of November.  GM Marcel, has no position, and still has Perron out with a concussion (could say he got 'Clothes Lined'), but this team is full of top seeds.  Kopitar is worth as much as any NHLP player, so Marcel has all kinds of options, in Florida's run for Cup #2.
15 4   1251 (H3 - 1288, L11 - 980)   A good number of top seeded players with two Kings, a Blue and a Flyer.  Kopitar is a monster here while Perron and Smyth are carrying their weight.  Staal has more points in the first 11 days of November than the entire team here.  Staal 8, rest of the team has only 5.  Carolina has finally climbed into the rankings, making Staal an asset.
10 3   1288 (L11 - 980)   A very sweet upward climb in the CTR for GM Marcel.  Kopitar and Smyth are only part of the great story developing in the Zoo.  Perron is on a team that just can't lose (Da Blues) and doing quite well with 6 points in 9 games.  Position is good as teams behind deal with injuries in the South.  Staal is no longer rated but six others are and looking OK.  (Now let's check out the Gorilla Pavillion)
5 11   980   A decent ranking with room to improve from Smyth and Kopitar if the Kings can climb to a higher seed.  Weber is getting full value with Nashville at the top of the standings.  All 7 are rated at this time and not many teams can make that claim right now.
